Those things still matter. But the ground has shifted. AI is fundamentally changing how people find information and brands, and how businesses need to show up online.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Search is no longer\u00a0just about ranking\u00a0on Google.\u00a0It&#8217;s\u00a0about being present and credible in AI-generated answers, in tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, in the responses that people now trust as much as a traditional results page. Generative Engine Optimisation, AI search readiness, and agentic SEO are not future-facing concepts anymore. That version leaves out the businesses I care about most.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Small businesses need someone in their corner. Not someone\u00a0who&#8217;ll\u00a0give them a watered-down version of what the big players get, but someone\u00a0who&#8217;ll\u00a0take the same strategic frameworks, the same\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pureseo.com\/nz\/analytics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>data-driven thinking<\/strong><\/a>, the same rigour that enterprise brands have access to, and translate it into something that\u00a0actually works\u00a0at their scale.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s\u00a0a gap\u00a0I&#8217;ve\u00a0watched agencies\u00a0fail to\u00a0close, not because they\u00a0couldn&#8217;t, but because they chose not to.
