Since 2022, we’ve partnered with the Anxiety NZ team to amplify the company’s digital presence, making it easier for people and whānau experiencing anxiety to access the resources they need. From managing Anxiety NZ’s free Google Ads grant account to improving its website visibility, we’ve worked together to align its digital strategy with its mission: Mental health support, treatment, and education for a resilient and thriving Aotearoa.
Challenges
When Anxiety NZ first partnered with us, they were up against a few significant challenges:
- Struggling to Get Noticed: The charity needed a way to boost its online presence and connect with the right audience.
- Limited Resources: As a charity, they didn’t have the in-house expertise to handle SEO or digital marketing.
- Breaking the Stigma: Anxiety NZ was on a mission to educate communities and challenge misconceptions about mental health, but overcoming these barriers made it difficult to drive engagement with their resources.

- Maximising Google Ads Grants: We optimised Anxiety NZ’s grant account to its full potential, creating campaigns focused on awareness and visibility—key to reaching more people in need.
- Website Optimisation: When Anxiety NZ launched a brand-new website, we optimised its SEO and fine-tuned its landing pages, ensuring everything worked seamlessly together.
- Promoting the Empowered Campaign: The Empowered Campaign centred around the launch of Anxiety NZ’s Empowered course, a free online programme designed to help people build a toolkit for improving their mental well-being. We helped spread the word and ensure this valuable resource reached as many people as possible.
- Collaborating for Impact: We worked hand-in-hand with their team to create campaigns aligned with their vision, boosting engagement with their helpline and other vital resources.
Results:
Our work with Anxiety NZ has delivered results that truly make a difference:
- From 1 October 2024 to 15 January 2025, impressions increased by 16.73% compared to the previous period, ensuring more people found the resources they needed.
- We delivered these results while reducing costs by 33.22%, maximising the efficiency of their budget.
- Comparing August to July 2024, we saw across-the-board improvements: impressions, clicks, and conversions all increased, while costs dropped—a testament to our tailored and data-driven approach.
