Known for his strategic thinking and attention to detail, he has worked with top firms like MHK Chartered Accountants, Greenlion, and GRA. Ian’s passion for the ICT sector led him to found and sell Global Accounting, and he currently serves on the boards of several successful companies, including those within the Pure SEO Group, the Harvard Group, and Just Life Group Ltd, a publicly listed company. Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Pam, and their three adult children, Louise, Liz, and Tim.
Ian is also deeply involved in community service, having served as a Justice of the Peace since 1999 and participated in various roles, such as a past Trustee of the Stardome Observatory and an honorary auditor for sports clubs and church parish committees. His expertise extends to business structuring and tax minimisation, where he “weaves logical magic” to optimise stakeholder outcomes. Ian is a Fellow of the NZ Trustees Association and continues to provide strategic advice, always aiming for freedom and success for his clients.
